Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Yalla Diet app (يلا دايت; package com.CraftAppz.DietCuisine on Google Play and the Amazon Appstore), developed by Craft Appz ("we"). In short: everything you enter stays on your device. We do not collect it and cannot see it.

1. Information you enter

To recommend a diet and estimate your needs, you may enter:

• Sex, age, height, weight, activity level and goal.
• Answers to health questions (for example high blood pressure, diabetes medication or pregnancy). These are used only to exclude unsuitable diets and show safety notices.
• Weight log, fasting sessions, water intake, challenges and reminder settings.

This information is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. It is never sent to us or to any third party. The app does not request the Internet permission, so it cannot transmit data.

2. What we don't do

• No accounts, and no email address or phone number required.
• No analytics, advertising, tracking or advertising identifiers.
• No access to location, camera, photos or contacts.
• We do not sell or share any data.

3. Permissions

• Notifications: to alert you when a fast is complete and remind you to drink water. You can turn them off at any time.
• Alarms & reminders (optional): so the end-of-fast alert arrives on time.
• Run at startup: to restore your reminders after the phone restarts.

All reminders are scheduled on the device itself; no server is involved.

4. Backups

If device backup is enabled (your Google account on Android, or your Amazon account on Fire devices), the system may include the app's data in your device backup so it can be restored on a new device. This is handled entirely by Google or Amazon and your account, and is not accessible to us. You can turn it off in your device settings.

5. Deleting your data

In the app: Progress → "Start over (erases all data)". You can also clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app. Because we hold no data, nothing else needs to be deleted. See the data deletion page.

6. Children

The app is intended for adults (18+) and shows younger users a message advising them to talk to their parents and doctor. We do not collect data from anyone.

The content is general information and not a substitute for a doctor or dietitian. See the terms and medical disclaimer.

8. Changes

If we change this policy we will publish the new version here and update the date above. Significant changes (for example a feature that uses the Internet) will be explained in the app before they take effect.
